Keltenschenke in Hagnau

The service was very nice, but also the only one in the shop who worked properly. Had to serve the completely filled shop by myself, while the gentleman behind the counter preferred to play with the mobile phone and styled the non-existent hair in the mirror. Another employee gave up after the second cleared plate and preferred to have a beer with a customer. The size of the portions is more like the Pumuckl plates in other restaurants, i.e. you never got full. Unfortunately, the pork wasn't through and the grilled vegetables were more soaked than in a mason jar.

Cozy restaurant, friendly service, very good food. But apparently never heard of Corona. Table distance approx. 30-40 cm. Guests sit less than 1 m apart from table to table. You don't feel comfortable as a guest despite the good food ...

The food was great and the staff were very friendly and kind. Would go back anytime and would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy best food and good atmosphere!

We stayed here on a recommendation. The service was very friendly, even though it was jam-packed. Location also great. Took the whitefish fillet with king prawns and my partner took the Balkan plate. The food was on the table in no time. The salad dressing was a bit fluffy, I had expected more from the whitefish fillet, and unfortunately there was no salt / pepper for seasoning on the table. I missed the garlic in the shrimp. The meat of the Balkan plate was dry, the cevapcici had an indefinable aftertaste. Maybe we just chose the wrong dishes. We have been in different places and restaurants for 10 days, and am disappointed for the first time, a shame

After the waiter realized that I was only alone, I was only offered a seat inside, although there were still some 4-person tables and a 2-person table outside. Apparently more emphasis is placed on turnover than on satisfied guests.

We have been vacationing in Hagnau for four years and since then we have also been going to the Keltenschenke. Whether rump steak, fish or dessert, there is something for everyone. The food tastes so good that we continue to enjoy coming to eat.

We were on vacation several times to eat in the Keltenschenke. Whatever we ate, it tasted very good. The salad always fresh, with homemade sauce - really delicious. And special praise also to the friendly service. When we are back at Lake Constance, we will certainly go to eat here again.

Very good restaurant if you are in Hagnau you have to go here to eat! Have now been here three times and always the same very good quality! I can definitely recommend it!

Price / performance okay. Waiters very friendly and courteous. Despite Corona measures, we felt very comfortable. 5 stars from me.

Honestly, I haven't rated much so far, but in this case I think it's a shame not to be able to award 6 ☆. But I do not want to go into this beautiful building that also gets its own rating that you can not go by without taking a look at it. The menu and the dishes are of very good quality, I don't want to reveal too much because tastes are different, I can only recommend it. Now comes the real reason why I am writing this review - the staff - Really very friendly and attentive. Our waiters are called Goran and what can I say - if you get him you can be very satisfied without detracting from the other staff that this team works and I conclude that the other staff also shows this kindness. All my impressions I got should serve to give you a picture of these friendly establishments. Towards them - that's my conclusion

Just wanted to have a drink there. Should sit in the best weather, even though the table was free. After a short discussion with 4 people we were allowed to sit outside. Received a 2014 wine Although I asked for a young year. On the bottle an attempt was made to make the current vintage unrecognizable when I spoke to the waiter, who said that this vintage would be even better ... It was evident that this waiter had no idea Of crying. And this despite being in one Wine region works.

Were eating there twice now. Very accommodating and friendly service. Sausage salad was great and the fried potatoes were a dream. Will go again, back today and great again

Keltschenke Hagnau on Lake Constance: I no longer remember how often my partner, her and my kids / family were here at noon and in the evening, on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, regardless of whether tourists (Lake Constance = holiday area) are there or not yet , no matter whether trade fair guests (Friedrichshafen = trade fair city) are there or not ... With Dragan and Marco you feel wonderful, just comfortable and welcome, no matter, even if there is more going on, this team, that applies to the entire team, never loses character, level, fun, enjoyment of work. As a guest, I have the feeling that they live their job. Food and drink: Extensive selection of drinks, including local Hagnau wines, beer from a regional, independent brewery, coffee, cake - everything is there. Eating, whether it's hearty meat, whether it's fine fish from the lake, whether it's salad or / and vegetarian: not good, not very good, but excellent what they do. Big compliment, gladly again and again.

All of the restaurants in town were full (which I understand is typical), and 2 others rudely (or VERY rudely! Zum Fässle next door was shockingly rude! Breathtaking!!!) turned us away. The lady of the house here was still smiling & welcoming even though they were also almost completely full, as was the man, & offered to seat us at a booth seat at the bar, if we liked. We had a LOVELY EVENING! Quite a total surprise, too! Food was hearty, beer was cold, owners and staff from busy downstairs kitchen to green-shirted waiters were all happy, smiling, hard-working CHEERY people. We stayed FAR longer than expected, drank 2 rounds of beer we wouldn't have normally had, had lots of friendly conversations with fellow guests and the staff - even our dog was welcome, and she loved the cozy, private booth/bench at the far corner of the bar. From what I saw, the nicest, most honest and hardest-working staff in Hagnau. We liked their Balkan specialties menu (cevapcici) - the balkan platter for 2 we saw from a distance: amazingly huge meat platter!!! It was awe-inspiring! I had the Schwabischtöpfle with käsespätzle (FILLING!), and my partner had a tomato soup, too, that was fresh tasting and bright. Nice, neighbourly place with WARM, SMILING, WELCOMING STAFF! A rarity in Hagnau! Stayed open relatively late, too (some restaurants closing by 20:45 on a Saturday night, despite having enough captivd clientele for a second seating! Bizarre!). Come here to Keltenschenke instead - friendliest, warmest place in town by miles!
